Metal House’s “Chichinette” is made from Northern Spy apples, grown just above the Hudson River. The cider has been a long time coming - upon being taken over by Metal House, this particular block of trees required four years of pruning and rehabilitation to begin bearing usable fruit. The cider is balanced out by the addition of wild Catskill crab apples, creating a beautifully balanced cider with bright acidity and a long finish. A serious cider made to be paired with food - particuarly grilled chicken or roast pork!
