Founded in 1910 as a producer of sake and shochu, Matsui and its Kurayoshi Distillery are located in Tottori Prefecture, northwest of Kyoto. This blended-malt whiskey has seen significant aging in cask, leading to complex aromas of orange, lemongrass, and rye, with round flavors on the palate of barley, apple, and a touch of florals. Burly but elegant.
