This 100% carbonic Cinsault comes from the winemaking duo Macarena del Río and Thomas Parayre (or Macatho), a Chileña and a Frenchman both interested in natural wine, having met and fallen in love, now with their own progressive wine project in the exciting region of Itata in Chile's Central Valley. The site for this wine is only about 30km from the sea, so this 0/0 Cinsault is quite coastal, with fresh red fruit, black pepper, and salt. An amazing indicator of the movement afoot in Chile toward fresh new wines.
