Louis Maurer is a natural wine producer farming 3 hectares of wines in Eichhoffen, a venerable winemaking village in Alsace. Maurer comes from a long line of winemakers, and upon being granted a few plots by his family he comitted to using only natural practices - his wines are always zero-zero, with no added sulphur. His Lerchenberg Riesling is fresh and intriguing, with fruity and floral scents of ripe pear and apple, grapefruit and citrus on a mineral background. Pairs beautifully with fish, cheese and lighter meat dishes.
