Light, easy-drinking, flowery: this is a quintessential easy-going Gamay, the Beaujolais that people think of when they think of the region, much more playful than many of the other Beaujolais we have represented in the shop. It's a perfect red for simple weekday dinners. The name 'Prémices' comes from the single plot of old Gamay vines cultivated by Dufaitre, whose respectful vineyard practices, delicious wines and support of the natural wine icon Jean Foillard made him into one of today’s most well-known names in Beaujolais.
