'A-Grafo' means 'uncharted' in Greek: this cuvée name is the way that Kontozisis communicates these certainly aren't the standard white wines to which you may have been exposed at weddings on Santorini or Mykonos. This Roditis, which is a pink-skinned grape like Pinot Gris, was macerated for 25 days whole cluster, leading to its deep amber color. It can be compared to a relatively fresh-tasting 'ramato' style of orange wine from Friuli, with concentrated yellow fruit and hibiscus aromas, a persistent and sharp structure on the palate. Drink with poultry and roast pork.
