The Kabaj family has grown grapes for generations in Goriška Brda, Slovenia’s best known appellation neighboring Italy’s Collio. In the late 80’s Kabaj married French enologist, Jean Michel Morel. The couple embraces time in their winemaking, this skin contact Rebula is aged in French oak for 2 years and rests for another 6 months in bottle. The soft tannic structure and roundness lends to a more refined take on orange wine, with white flower notes and a slight spicy dynamic quality.
