The Georgas family's Savatiano 'Black Label' aims to show the pure character of the most planted grape of Greece, grown biodynamically in its home turf, with zero sulfites or any other additive. It's a yellow-amber color, with complex aromas and flavors that unfold slowly in the glass, of a predominantly salty and nutty profile, with well-integrated tannins and good acidity. This a serious amber wine, not quaffable 'orange,' and we recommend it with dishes that have tomato, feta, and olives. Fried fish would be good too!
