One of the oldest normal batch releases put forward by Found North, 'Batch 009' is also a cornerstone of this craft distillery's line-up. Like most of Found North's whiskeys, this one's a blend; along with a foundation of 19 year old bourbon aged in ex-ruby port casks, this blend contains 7 other whiskeys, notably 22 and 26 year old bourbons with time in new American oak. It's a rich and luscious bourbon, with notes of molasses, butterscotch and raspberry compote. This one's cask strength, meaning it comes in at 124.6 proof - sip it on the rocks or with a splash of water to really help it open up.
