A blend of vintages: 2018 and 2019; an Alsatian native blend made of 60% Auxxerois, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Gris. As a unique technique, Rietsch uses the juices of 2020 to trigger secondary fermentation. 100% indigenous yeast, no champagne yeast used. This is an unbelievably complex, hard-to-find, and kind of inimitable sparkling wine—very, very few people in Alsace are making anything like it!
