Derrumbes San Luis Potosí is an incredible example of a very particular style of mezcal crafted in the high altitude Central Mexican Plateau. It is made from the region’s wild agave Salmiana, giving the mezcal a unique, vibrant flavour. Produced in an old traditional hacienda, the agave is roasted in a traditional hornos oven, which gives it a somewhat less pronounced smoky flavor than a more typical pit oven. Strong citrus notes are paired with a refreshing, stony minerality, with well-balanced fruitiness and spice.
