The original recipe for Contratto, from 1935, is based on a combination of 28 natural botanicals. A traditional process of cold maceration is used to create a sophisticated, complex and well-balanced aperitif. It gets its vibrant color from vegetable extracts – carrot and beet, in particular. Try as a pretty, less saccharine alternative to Aperol.
