Cesc Boronat's small winery in the Alt Camp, in his hometown village of Nulles, is producing beautiful Mediterranean white wines that are some of the most saline we've encountered in the last year or so. This local grape variety, Cartoixa, is understood to be either synonymous with or closely related to Xarel.lo, the more famous Catalan white variety. This is the most serious white wine Cesc makes, from his oldest vineyards. A must for people who like Chablis but want it with more herbs.
