Broc Cellars is one of the best wineries in CA to make a 'white Zinfandel' that's really worth it: a gentle pressing of mountainous Zin fruit, with the addition of some neat Trousseau Gris for texture, results in a juicy, zesty, is-it-light-red-or-is-it-rosé type of thing. Chill it down, drink it outside, don't think too hard about it: but respect the ability to take a crap Franzia category and actually make something really good, from quality vineyard sources, too.
