First started in 1885, still family-owned and operated, Brezza is a bastion of the old-school, graceful style of Piemontese Nebbiolo, without compromise in terms of their adherence to the methods of an older era. The 2019 Barolo Classico is a gorgeous entry-level offering from Brezza. Bright, translucent, and full of character, the straight Barolo is all charm.  Crushed red berry fruit, orange peel, sage, mint and sweet spice all lend notable complexity throughout.
