The Hudson Valley is know historically for the many high quality apple orchards that dot its historic hills. With this natural abundance, Branchwater Farms, which is in its own works “an integrated group of micro-farms, all cultivated in accordance with organic and regenerative farming principles,” wastes no opportunity to use the best of each harvest. For this release the folks at Branchwater first distilled the eau de vie, capturing its fragrant essence, then aged the spirit in oak to round out the final brandy with layers of nuance.
