Bordiga is an old-school producer of northern Italian vermouths, small-scale and still operating in its original building (and pot still!) founded in the 1880's by a famous Torino bar owner. Based on Piedmontese white wines, including Moscato, and infused with more than thirty different botanicals taken from the Occitan Alps at the foot of the distillery; plus all botanical macerations are done individually and in-house. This is high-quality extra dry vermouth that makes fragrant, delicate dry martinis: a vast improvement over the standard dry vermouths from most liquor stores, with more herbal and savory details.
