A very interesting entry for those who are into things from the Mediterranean; BCN uses only natural spring water in their distilling from deep under the slate soils of the Priorat. Their flavor profile is also focused on botanicals from Priorato—juniper, rosemary, fennel, pine, lemon and in particular, the unusual component of figs. They combine all those with lemon peel from “the south of our Catalan Mediterranean.” Fascinating gin that makes a very luxurious 50/50 martini.
