The entry level whiskey offered by Auchentoshan, one of three remaining Lowlands distilleries. Auchentoshan is unusal among Scottish distilleries for producing triple-distilled spirits, making them more delicate and bringing out greater depth of character. The 12 year is well-balanced, spicy and somewhat fruity on the palate, with a full, round body and a gingery and slightly nutty finish.
