55% Gamay, 30% Cabernet Franc and 15% Côt, co-fermented and made via carbonic maceration. This is a delicious French country wine, similar in style and shape to the wines of Thierry Puzelat or Pierre-O Bonhomme. The wine starts with a touch of reduction on the nose then shakes off to reveal cherry, rhubarb and plum. Medium-bodied, with hints of sour cherry and spice. 'Les Joueurs de Nez' means “the nose players”—lol, the French—and it’s a reference to the playful aromatic interplay of the wine.
