A great melon liqueur from the Rhône Valley in France; made from the Cavaillon melon, which bears resemblance to cantaloupe, but with a deeply aromatic flesh that is sweet and mildly acidic. The juice of these melons is blended with lemon juice and sweetened with cane sugar before bottling, making for a great aperitif. Not too sweet, not too boozy. No fake flavors. Great in a gin & soda for an extra kick.
