A robust Languedoc red wine, still produced with a sense of energy and lift, that doesn’t shy away from the dark fruit and dark Mediterranean character of this windswept locale at Bru’s place not far from the sea. Roughly equal parts Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault, Mylène explains of this wine, “I have these three grape varieties from three small plots, which mature at the same time. In 2014, I had the idea of placing them in the same tank to form small, destemmed layers that turn like mills: the Mills of my Heart! It is also a link to Michel Legrand, a great musician who composed this legendary music: ‘The Windmills Of Your Mind’ for the cinema.” The result is deep, delicious, and nicely balanced; windmills indeed!
